OUR HISTORY

Timi Children’s School (Nursery and Primary) was founded by Late Mrs. Olagunju Grace Olufunmilola in the year 1988.

The school (formerly known as God’s Grace Nursery & Primary School) was first located at No 22 Shobande Street, Itire, before it moved to No 61, Ola Street, Itire, Surulere (its present location and the school permanent site)

The school started with 18 pupils of pre-nursery age. This was borne out of the proprietress’ passion for proper upbringing and education of children. The school achieved a quantum leap after her marriage to Mr. Titus Olagunju, a seasoned administrator and accountant. Their combined efforts as proprietor and proprietress gave the school the needed boost space for accelerated growth that we now see today. God’s Grace Nursery/Primary School was renamed Timi Children’s School.

The objective of the school is to provide a 21st century standard education with modern facilities and well-motivated and qualified teachers. This is to provide enabling environment for grooming well grounded and mentally balanced pre-nur, Nursery and primary school pupils. To achieve this objective, the school has put in place modern facilities with qualified and experienced teachers (NCE, BED) in various disciplines to teach at all level of the school. The school became a full-fledged Nursery and Primary in 1994 and got the Lagos State Government approval in March, 2003.

As the school progressed, the burden to establish a school where pupils can continue their secondary education arose. This gave birth to Timi Comprehensive College in 2002. The untiring efforts of our team transformed many lives academically, socially and spiritual and the work continues. This is owing to our zero tolerance to exam malpractices and other social ills. Our students are well groomed by our professional staff to achieve all round success. Their academic success has made the school to stand out over the years and has contributed to our continuous growth and various recognitions of awards.
